Cristobal del Solar cards record 57 on Korn Ferry Tour

The Florida State product started fast, carding an 8-under 27 on the front nine.

“It was a great front nine,” del Solar said, per GolfChannel.com. “I was obviously very excited, but I was trying to keep focused and not think of the score.”

He had a chance for an even lower final score, however he missed a 15-foot putt for birdie on the par-4 18th hole.

Despite failing to make that putt, del Solar matched the 11-under 57 recorded by Ireland’s David Carey during the opening round of the Cervino Open on the Alps Tour in 2019.
