It wasn’t a snowy Christmas, but Newmarket comedian Juston McKinney is still in the midst of a year-end flurry of shows.
His trademark Comedy Year in Review wrap-ups — a multimedia romp with a slide show and commentary that covers a year’s worth of headlines is taking over venues across New Hampshire.
They include performances at 8 p.m. today and 4:30 and 8 p.m. Friday at The Music Hall, 28 Chestnut St., Portsmouth, and 5 and 8 p.m. Sunday at the Nashua Center for the Arts.
Put a couple of dates on the calendar for 2024 as well. He’ll play the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 16, and the Colonial Theatre in Laconia at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 25.
Recycled Percussion continues its mini residency with 15 shows at the Palace Theatre, 80 Hanover St., Manchester, through Sunday, Jan. 7.
This weekend’s spectacle of drums and feats includes shows at 7 p.m today; and 3 and 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
In addition, the group is scheduled to play the Rochester Opera House Sunday, Jan. 14, at 3 p.m.; Claremont Opera House at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27; the Nashua Center for the Arts at 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 3-4; and Saturday, Feb. 10, at Lebanon Opera House.
Before Bob Marley, the wicked funny Maine-ah, heads down to Florida for a string of wintertime standup shows, he’ll take over the Rochester Opera House, 31 Wakefield St., at 8 p.m. Sunday.
