Marshall, as is often the case, presented a matchup nightmare. Against straight man-to-man defense, the 6-8, 260-pound senior scored his team's first 13 points and finished the game with an array of putbacks, dunks (three, one coming off an alley-oop pass by Parker Bienvenue-Cernuda) and one 3-pointer. He was 12-for-15 from the foul line.

Marshall scored 15 points in the first quarter, nine in the second, 15 more in the third and six in the fourth before being calling it a night with 2:20 to play. 

Jordan Torres led Trinity (11-5) with 19 points and DeVohn Ellis added 15.
