What motivates you to give back to your community?
Through my work, I’ve come to understand that to really create a resilient and connected community, as well as a shared sense of belonging, we have to actually depend on and need each other. Our own joy and resilience is directly tied to our communities’ wellbeing, so with this understanding comes a very natural motivation to be of service.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
Seek out mentors, nothing can be more valuable than learning from someone that you look up to and respect.
What would make New Hampshire more attractive to young professionals?
First and foremost, it’s imperative that we have affordable housing and child care. Beyond the basics, we want to foster diversity of people and ideas, and nurture spaces that allow young people to enact innovative and meaningful change.
Do you see yourself living and working in New Hampshire at age 55-plus?
I absolutely can! I love living in a rural landscape, and look forward to spending more and more time in my garden and in nature as I grow older.
Volunteer activities: As a new mom, all my non-work time is currently dedicated to my family.
Last major achievement: Becoming a mom to my son, Olivier.
